Group therapy focuses on experiencing and expressing feelings and thoughts within the group. Experiencing one's own ability to connect and the desire for it effectively inspires authentic self-expression and spontaneity—both within the group and in everyday life.

SKAN Group
Like individual therapy, SKAN in a group requires a protected and trusting environment (in my practice, a closed group). Experiencing the vibrant, loving, and vulnerable self in a group setting, without reactivating relationship-avoidance maneuvers that are often learned early on, is a process that requires creativity, willpower, and perseverance. SKAN offers a wide range of settings, interventions, and group experiments, such as chair work, mat work, segment work, verbal energy work, breathwork, and, where appropriate, performative bodywork. The group experience is determined by the participants' issues, which emerge during this group dynamic process.
Streaming Theatre / Performative Bodywork Group
Performative bodywork is a creative therapeutic approach inspired by the performing arts (theater, dance), and less frequently by the visual arts (performance art, body art). Unlike professional art, the focus in performative bodywork is not on the artificial value of an embodiment or form of expression, but rather on the connection to feeling awareness. There is a potential for tension in both the relationship between performer and figure/form, and between stage and audience, which performative bodywork harnesses. Tracing this tension creates direct access to longings, potentials, avoidance strategies and fears.
In addition to the work of psychotherapists and trainers Petra Mathes and Loil Neidhöfer, who have been developing settings for expressive work with groups for over 40 years, my work is influenced by elements from theater (especially Chekhov) and dance (especially 5 Rhythms and Contact), as well as theater and dance therapy. The methodological spectrum of performative bodywork includes scenic reintegration (SRI) and streaming theatre.
